Thumbs up for The Can Caravan from Cray’s Hill School!

The Can Caravan picture book for children aged 4-9, written by Romani Storyteller Richard O’Neill and illustrated by Cindy Kang, celebrates the traditional Traveller virtues of resilience, adaptability, loyalty and independence.

The Travellers’ Times contacted the publisher Child’s Play, and asked them to send some copies of the book to Crays Hill Primary School, Essex, who had kindly supported some of their pupils to review it. Crays Hill Primary School and its dedicated staff serves the parents and children of a large local Irish Traveller community.
